Technology mandate

One technology we build. Three we will only build on evidence.

Breadth without discipline is how development capital gets burned. Solar plus storage is where our execution sits today. The rest of the mandate advances only when a named set of conditions is satisfied — and we publish those conditions so partners can hold us to them.

Core capability

Utility-scale solar PV with co-located storage

Bankable, deeply supplied, and with established interconnection and permitting precedent in every market we work. Storage is specified at origination rather than retrofitted, because the interconnection request and the revenue case have to be built around it from the first study.

Specifying storage at origination rather than bolting it on later is the single decision that most changes a project’s outcome. It sets the interconnection request, the study scope, the point of interconnection rating and the revenue model. Retrofitting it means restudying — which in most queues means starting again.

Under evaluation

Three technologies, and the evidence each one needs.

These are not rejected. They are gated. Each carries a condition set that has to be satisfied with documents, not enthusiasm, before we will spend development capital against it.

Screened / 01

Next-generation geothermal

Advances only if

Resource temperature ≥ 150 °C at drillable depth on independently reviewed data, transmission within ~15 miles, and a drilling contractor with closed-loop or EGS delivery history under term.

Screened / 02

Waste-to-energy & RNG

Advances only if

Feedstock contracted 15 years or longer, a host carrying real disposal-cost exposure, and an offtake or renewable-credit pathway identified before development spend.

Screened / 03

Hydrogen & e-fuels

Advances only if

An anchor offtaker is under signed LOI before spend, firm co-located power is contracted, and water rights are secured — not applied for.

Why gate at all

A mandate you can hold us to.

Any developer can list six technologies on a website. The list costs nothing to write and tells a capital partner nothing about where the team can actually execute. Published conditions are a different commitment: they say what would have to be true, and they make it visible when it isn’t.

If you are bringing us a geothermal, RNG or hydrogen opportunity, the fastest route is to address the conditions directly. A project that clears them is one we will look at seriously. One that can’t will get a straight answer quickly, which is worth more to you than a slow maybe.
